DP temperature question

Post by ryverrat »

I don't usually kept my current DP tank above 79F but the tank I have aset up and cycled tank at work that is at 82F all the time - turned the heater off- actually unplugged- but still 82F- work in an IT center with lots of equipment- is pretty warm all the time. Would it be too warm for a DP constantly? I know it says up to 82F in the pufferpedia but I avoid the extremes.

82 should be fine. I have had the temperature at 86 while treating ich with no strange effect at all on DPs, seemed just as comfortable as at 76.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.
