I was just curious.....My GSP is about like 1.4 Inches , can I do anything for his teeth yet since he's a tiny little booger?

Can I maybe throw in a small crayfish for him to tear up? Or is it not the time for him to tackle this phase of maturity yet? lol

Any suggestings to keep a little GSP's teeth in check?

snails and clam/muscle on shell with most of the meat removed (so he has to scrape the shell)
I found that at that size they just kinda pick at crabs or crayfish...

I wanted to get like small snails....but believe it or not, all the lfs I go to have no snails for sale. Im not sure why...buts its pretty retarded.

Clam/Muscle on a shell? Can I just buy one from the seafood section of the supermarket? Do I have to do anything special to it? Or do I just chuck it in the tank and let him figure it out?

You should be able to get pond snails from them for free. most places consider them a nuisance...
I would steer clear of malaysian trumpet snails (look like ice cream cones)

as for the clam/muscle, make sure they are uncooked, no seasoning, or oils. just raw. freeze them for a few days to make sure they don't have anything on them. then thaw in tank water. remove the meat and then feed like your other foods (hold it or chuck it in...)

have you read the feeding article in the library? I think most of this stuff is in there...
