Crabs Legs

Post by blondenblue »

I went to my local fishmongers today and asked for some bits of crab, the lady looked at me like i was mad when i said it was for my puffer fish. After a little chat she gave me a whole carrier bag of crabs legs. my question is do i just feed them as they are or do i break them up? last time i fed them crabs claws which i broke the shell on first as it was really thick, im not sure how thick the shell is on the legs!

i'd smash it one or twice then give it to them, if the sheels too thick it could be unbreakable, depends on the fish?

but if you hit it with a hammer once or twice to sahtter the shell but it stays intact its a good work out...
