Impulse buy (again) - Baby Burr - SO SO CUTE!

Post by Sandee »

... yeah, we're nuts - we're buying up all the cute Puffers in the tri-state area these days (NJ/NY/CT). This little guy was yet another impulse buy - he's only about an 1 1/2" ... we couldn't resist! He's currently in our quarantine tank ... he had a few spots on his tiny fins, but otherwise looks great!

Well, we have about 20 or so tanks now - but we still have room - OMG!

He actually looks pretty good for a burr. Most have pretty bad IPs. You still may have to treat, so have the med on hand.

Very nice looking burr. Those have been the hardest fish I think I have kept due to them being so ridden with parasites.

Interesting. He has some spots on his fins, but it looks like very very mild Ick or Velvet. He'll be in the QT for a few weeks anyway - I'll keep an eye on him. So far so good. But thanks for the info.
