Feeding my dwarf puffers

Okay, so i have had 2 dwarf puffers for about a week now. I have bought the frozen bloodworm and petsmart gave me quite a few snails (which i have in a small tank to hopefully breed in). I thaw the blood worms in their aquarium water, for afew hours, then try feeding them, and they hardly take any interest, they may take one bite, but then leave the rest, then about an hour later, i have to clean the sand from the bloodworms left on the floor. So i tried the snails, then the snails hit the ground, they burrow into the sand. Even if they dont, the puffers look at them, but never try to eat, i have 2 snails crawling around the front of my tank right now.

Since it has been a week now and they have eaten hardly anything, i was starting to get worried. Is there anything else i could try feeding them? I really thought the snails would do the trick, but it doesnt seem like it is.

Do they look really skinny? It's possible that they have IPs, which might be causing them to ignore food. If you could take a picture, that would help us identify if they look infected.

For my dwarf puffers, it took a bit of coercion before they started eating Bloodworms. Instead of dumping in a bunch, I had to feed them 1 bloodworm at a time with a little pipette (or turkey baster). They would often ignore it, but I'd just keep sucking it up and very slowly (and I mean very slowly) squirting it in front of them. Eventually they'd take a couple bites, then spit it back out. After the second or third day, they started gobbling them down. It just takes a bit of patience, as they're likely not used to their new tank and environment just yet.

Also, the puffers might ignore the snails if they're too large.
