GSP's New questions

Hi,
I've been reading the forums and it seems the most probable limiting factor to puffer growth is tank size so I have put two 1.5" GSP's in a 75 gallon tank with a SG of 1.008. I must admit though, it looks like I can get more but I want to see how fast they grow. Will adding another one or two affect growth? Also, I have noticed that they tend to spend time together and actually seem to seek each other out if they lose eyesight of each other, has anyone heard of this behavior? I should add that they are still new to the tank so maybe it's because they are still nervous.

On a side note, the pet store I bought them from took great care of their puffers! They had their little green spotted puffs in a 1.008 SG tank and older ones in a seperate tank with slightly higher salinities! One of the workers said they were by far her favorite fish and it showed, they all looked great!
She had also said that they have never been bred in captivity but I thought they have been. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I don't think adding another GSP would cause problems at all. I personally have 3 together and they get along fine. As for the seeking each other out, I too, have experienced this. Unless it is dinner time, they do not stray too far from each other. One imparticular that I have is very clingy to other GSP's and a clownfish that I have that actually cleans him. I think with the space that the have, there is no reason for them to attack one another. I also have quite a bit of live rock in my tank with many areas for them to explore and retreat to if necessary. (I have had my GSP's at full marine for over a year now.)
I say...go ahead and add another one. Just give them plenty of decor to break up aggression if needed.

I definately would not keep more than 3 6" adults in a 75g, considering their minimum recommended tank size is 30g.
