Hey guys, I have a figure 8 puffer and wanted to feed something other then Bloodworms any suggestions?

snails. shrimp. any hard shelled crustation pretty much.

I feed mine frozen mysis shrimp, mussels, live snails and shrimp. I'm planning on ordering frozen clams and squid from That Fish Place.com (I think they have a minimum order and don't deliver in summertime.) Or maybe it was Petsolutions.com.

Anyway, I also have brine shrimp with spirulina. I don't ever feed just plain brine shrimp though. It's not nutritious enough. Also krill is not nutritious and can cause lockjaw in puffers.

I feed mine snails, bloodworms and crayfish.
