yea i'm doing the .002 a week deal since i already had a cycled fw tank. the lfs kid said it would be fine to bring into fw at first. knowing what i know now i'd rather have had it bw first. guilty of not doing the research firsthand. it'll be alright i'm sure, he was in fw anyways that's why i didn't even second guess it. only thing i've gotten him to eat so far is frozen bloodworms. he didn't eat very much but he acts like most stuff is not even food. i want to get some snails tomorrow and see how that goes. i gave him a piece of shrimp and frozen krill. he just swam up to the shrimp it and investigated for a long time but never ate it. yea i read 2 articles about GSPs

awesome! yea bloodworms are usually always eatin by GSP's mine loves grocer store shrimp, just freeze it then chunk of a tiny piece and dethaw that for him and see if he likes it.

but yea thats good your raising salinity, you'll see alot of improvement when they get in brackish water, your using marine salt right?
