Feeder cone

Post by Sean W. »

Has anyone ever had any success using a feeder cone to feed puffer fish?

i put one in my tank, and they all looked at it and were like " what are we supposed to do with this? "

Puf some live worms in it & they'll learn! Every time I approach my tanks, all my fish gather around the cone in anticipation of worms coming out of it. Some of them bite the empty cone.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

LOL and some fish stores say that fish have a 3 second memory.

I found that they work with a lot of fish, but not certain ones, such as bichirs. They also don't work with very large fish, such as my barbs.

Abe didn't understand at first until the red blood worms went in. Now he understands, so much so that he has absolutely destroyed the cone's base. :P
