Carinotetraodon irrubesco...active? Dwarves too

hi there,
I currently have a planted FW tank. The pH is 6.5, and i use RO water, which is beeter for the fish as tapwater round here is crap!
I have had experience with puffers, so i know about their behaviour, requirements etc. Ive kept figure 8s, GSPs and dwarves.
I have a 15 gallon US tank, cycled and everything (fish have been in there for ages!), obviously the fish willl be removed.
I am stuck between a Carinotetraodon irrubesco (red eye) or a trio of dwarves.
I have been researching on the red eye and it says the minimum tank sizze is 10 US gals, 75 litres on here.
What would you go for, Dwarves or Red Eyes? I know that dwarves are fairly active due to past experience etc...are red eyes?

I like dwarves, but I've never kept red eyes, so I'm biased.

Mine are VERY active
They love watching my every move and they also love the camera
But I have experienced that the male carinotetraodon can be a little shy in the beginning.
Since you have had dwarves before maybe it's time to try out irrubesco?

Im leaning toward the red eyes...ill order them from my work next weekend
I know that are usually aggressive but has anyone had any luck with tank mates? Just that i have a lovely L number plec that id hate to get rid of and 3 large cories

My 4 irrubesco can't be with other tank mates.
They hate other fishes
But my salivator pair live with barbs and cories in a 240l.
I think maybe the tank is too small for irrubesco with tank mates but you can allways try.

its not irrubesco but i have a lorteti in with my community tank wiht no accidents so far ( im am moveing him soon but hes been in there a few weeks)

yeah i got lucky hes very personable sometimes i have thoughts of leaving him in there but i have a beautiful odd ball tank ( a bgk a peacock eel butterfly fish kuli loches corys and a rainbow shark ) and although he is a perfect addition to it and seems to naturally ( well not in nature but he dose seem to belong in that tank i dont understand it i think its the way his cave fits him and how comfortable he looks patroling) go well in the tank an over night sudden blood bath would losse me over 200 dollars worth of fish so i think he will get his tank but try tank mates git your puffer all cozy and when you have his temperament decide if you want to try then try lazy armored fish first ( like a pleco ) then you can try sturdy fish or fish that can hide

I got a dwarf puffer from work on saturday. He started eating straight away, which is good
Ive still got the community fish in there atm but they will be taken out on Monday, as they are rather fact cardinals etc and he may have trouble eating...
Ill be getting two more dwarves on monday too.
I have been doing further reading on the net and have read that people have mixed dwarves with south americans and red eye red tails.
Has anyone on here had them with C.Irrubesco's? I may try them with a pair...see how it goes, i work at a LFS so if it gets nasty i can take the dwarves back etc
NB i may nto definetly be getting the Irrubesco's, plus i dont know whether the shops will have them.
