Tank Mates?

Post by Ikkle1 »

I've been given 6 Cherry Barbs and 6 Large Cardinal tetras.

Because i haven't got a spare tank to put them in, I've put them into Buffy's tank.
Two days now, and they all are still there, uneaten.

I think because they are "shoaling fish", Buffy leaves them alone.

Anyway, it's nice to see more movement in the tank.

What puffer is Buffy?

Some puffers will leave other fast moving fish alone as long as they are fed well. Its not uncommon to hear of the nice gentle puffer who hasn't killed his tankmates causing a bloodbath :(

But those are all FW fish, in w/your BW puffer.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

It's OK for a short while in a low SG. As long as it's not permanent.
