Will my GSP eat my......

I have a about 2" GSP maybe 1.5" I got some hermit crabs about 2" or so. Will my GSP eat them? He eats ghost shrimp...

depends on your puffer. maybe yes, maybe no. most likely yes, but my GSP lives with three hermits and has for a while.
it's up to you if you wanna risk it.

Just don't buy expensive ones. Worst case they provide the puffer with a little entertainment (or best case?) and you're out a few bucks.

I had a huge red hairy one that lasted several months with my 2 adult GSPs. It was mean! Every time I'd go near tank, he'd climb up to the highest rock & shake his big claw at me! Eventually he was eaten...

I wish my puffers would eat hermit crabs, I dropped some ghost shrimp in the tank months ago and now I notice that they are breeding! Lazy fish...

I had a tennis ball sized hermit in with a 7" Porcupine puffer for months. The puffer wanted to eat the crab, but he was just too big. I ended up removing the crab after watching him wipe out some polyps.
