Please excuse my appearance, i've been attacking prey and got sand on my belly!
I thought i saw a pusscat, oh no, it's not a pussycat.... it's a lion!
is it my imagination or is that river shrimp almost the same size as me? Who you calling small????!

I'm pretty sure that's just the juvenile coloration.
