Tooth trim for fahaka puffers!
my fahaka puffer is about 5 inches long now and I was just wondering how you can tell if fahaka puffers need tooth trimming? his usual diet consists of cut up shrimp, opened mussels, crayfish, and snail.

Their teeth loook like a beaver's. It can get to the point where they can't close or open their mouth properly.
Check out the Puffer Dentistry article in our Library for a good pic of a smaller puffer's teeth, before trimming.

Re: Tooth trim for fahaka puffers!
thanks. I looks at those pictures in the library and it seems that i can see any teeth on my fahaka puffer. Im guessing they're really short.

Be happy for that fact...
I would consider teeth-trimming on a terrified Fahaka a kinda nightmarish extreme sport.
