I finally got my first puffer : a GSP. I've been in love with these fish for many years, but never had the right tank to keep 1. Since moving from a 32 gallon reeftank to a 120 gallon tank, my smaller tank has only been housing 1 fish : a sixline wrasse. Looking for a tankmate for him I couldn't resist temptation any longer and bought a GSP yesterday. He was in a FW tank in the store and I had to acclimatize him to full SW conditions, which I did in 3 hours. I read on this forum it has been done before, I just hope there won't be any future negative consequences.
This morning the cute little dude was still swimming around lively and had changed colours in a remarkable way : in the store he was dark with a grey belly and now the green/yellow is bright and the belly is pretty much white. I tried to feed him mysis yesterday, but he wasn't interested. I will try again today.
