PLay Sand Safe For fw puffers?

im looking for a white play sand at like lowes or homedepot, i was told that any play sand was safe for freshwater puffers is this true? is there a brand or a type of sand i should look for or stay away from?

All play sands should be fine. You are using this in your Suvatti tank I presume? Do check out the care sheets for your puffers though, it will help make sure everything is right: http://www.thepufferforum.com/PufferPedia

I'd also recommend skipping the play sand and getting pool filter sand, it's much less dirty as it's prerinsed and screened for similar grain size.

Play sand is VERY dirty.. I'll never use it again.

I like "very fine gravel" or "large grain sand" better, personally.
