GSP's eyes

Post by Junyoungmin »

Hi, im new to the puffer forum. i recently bought a GSP a month ago after a month of doing research on this site. well a while back i noticed around both his eyes (around the outer edge of the yellow part), a red blood ring formed. sometimes its dark and sometimes its not, but its always there. i was wondering if this is a problem, i saw one other person post about it but didnt find anything about it. my puffer is eating well, swimming well, and still looks good and healthy.
20g tank (moving to 55g this weekend.)
ammonia=0
nitrite=0
nitrate<20
ph=7.8
sg=1.008
please tell me if this is something i should be worried about. thank you

I remember someone posting about this too but do not rmember an outcome. If you could get a picture for us that would really help, but I have a hunch that its nothing to worry about as your tank perameters seem spot on.
