fishlady,
If you want some fast growing plants that don't require fert. and no special lighting and fast growing let me know. I'll be trimming my plants soon. I can send some your way.

You just cut and replant. It's the big bushy plants in the back. They grown like weeds.

I can either mail them or I can bring them to the auction if your going. I brought some over to the geeks house about a month ago. imageekgirl said they are doing really good last time I asked her about it.

You can pm me your address, I'll be trimming in a week or two. Just don't feel like messing with them today. I'm being lazy.

hehe...I just saw the pics of Ra burrowed....he is one awesome little puffer....
I think the verdict on MTS is no....but I think once he reaches a certain size, it turns to a maybe. They have hard shells, and most small puffers cant handle the shell.

I baught some hornswort for my tank, any thoughts on this plant? It looks pretty cool. I also got a grass type plant that kinda spirals up...Don't remember the name of it...What are your thoughts on a planted tank? Am I making my tank better or worse by adding the live plants?

The thing i noticed about it when i first put it in the tank that alot of the little leafs came off and were floating around the tank. I keep my tank very clean so this bothered my OCD arse lol

i will agree big time on the planted tank making it better.....i love planted tanks....
i have grown hornwort but it was in my co2 injected tank....i have a 5lb bottle and regulator on the 30 gallon planted....my plants in there go wild.....but i'm all excited to try the plants that Lissa is providing me for RA....i am trying to make his tank more user friendly for him..so he'll feel more hidden....he's still somewhat shy...and i think it's because he doesn't feel secure in there yet...so imma workin on it big time.....

Pookie has a spot that he chills in alot, he only comes out once in a while. He isn't really shy but he doesn't swim around much. I've only had him for a few months so maybe he'll get better. The other day Josh was kinda hopping around in front of the tank (being silly as usual) and scared him a bit. He sat there for a minute then attacked the side of the tank twice! it was crazy. Then he sulked for an hour or better with his back toward us. Josh kept trying to make it up to him but he wasn't having it. lol

Elvis will do that to me. He get's mad goes in the corner and sulks. I just show him his favorite treat and he forgives me.
Puffer's with big attitude. You gotta love it.
