Here is my fire eel Slinky :D I love him so much, he hides behind the filter and comes out when i tap the top of the tank as he knows he will be getting fed! Lol I am thinking about getting him a little hiding tube but he is not really that shy. He sits in his castle alot like he is the king :)

There are smaller worms, like bloodworms or blackworms. They really don't eat much else. W/o live worms, they will most likely starve to death.

I have a fire eel, It took me a long time to get it to eat. Try live black worms. mine went nut for them once i tried that. Use a turkey baster. Mine outgrew the black worms so now i just go to like Fred Meyers and buy the bait nightcrawlers. He just loves feeding time. I hope he will be a good tankmate to my puffer when my puff gets bigger.

What kind of puffer do you have?

Edit: I see you have a fahaka. I wouldn't keep that puffer with any fish. 99% of them are vicious killers.
