My tank is healthy at the moment and the Biospira is on its way. It is taking forever and I do not need the Biospira anymore. What I need to know is how long will Biospira last in the fridge? forever? I'm hoping to wait a year or so before starting another tank and will use the Biospira for that.

According to Marineland, it should last over a year if properly stored and will even last longer than we think if it is at room temperature, as long as its not frozen or heated.

If my tank already has 0 nitrite and 0 ammonia would it be even worth it to use the stuff?

If they stay that way after 24 hours then it's not necessary. If the nitrates are >20, it's time for a WC.
