She was on a 75% black sand, 25% red gravel substrate.

Excellent. I'm still looking for another Congo as well. They are awfully hard to find. My first one was orange, and I'd prefer to get one near the same color. I've just kept up on checking aquabid and LFSs and hope an orange (or red) one will come along someday.

pp why do you have to tease me with your congo pics? lol....Still drawing a blank on the fig 8, still no rush as things are fine as they are until my new arrival comes. plus i worked 87 hours this week so maybe best next week anyhow.

Lol bertie, they seem to be pretty hard to find right now, but they are up on aquabid once in a while. I'm keeping my eyes out for one and will let you know if I see one. There's an absolutely gorgeous 3" Fahaka on there right now.

I would love another fahaka also but if I add another 100+g tank I would have to live in the kitchen lol
