1) Start cycling my 10G (with filter cartridge from 20G or 100G)
2) Move tank inhabitants from 20G (Silus, danios, etc.) to the 10G when Puffer arrives
3) Put puffer in 20G alone & observe temperment, eating habits
4) Go to craigslist and search for a nice 29G to house it in for life

Or I could put him in the 100G :D jk

Sorry. My husband said he wanted me to try to win the big fella but I have my heart set on doing something else with my empty tank. So...I thought I'd try to win it for crazed.

I guess this number game isn't going to work. I am really looking for someone ready to place this puffer into a cycled tank. Either you have a cycled tank ready, an extra filter you have on hand for a QT or an empty tank with Bio-Spira (which I really don't even like to depend on anymore).

Please post what your plans are for this fish. I am looking for the best long-term situation for this very special puffer. If you have a pic of the tank you have planned for it, all the better!

Ok well i have a 29 gallon tank that was going to be brakish but i can put two penquin 200b from my community tanks on it tonight and have it cycled by tommorow lol. i was gonna take substrate from one of the older tanks anyway so it would have bacteria from the tank to start.

anyway what im trying to say is i have a tank that would be ready to go by the time he would be here if you would be interested

Now if your wondering what i woudl do with my GSP i am throwing the idea of turning my current bichir tank into a GSP tank with two GSP's in it, so if this works out that is what i would prob do.

but first check shipping to my area becus it is non-overnight area so you have to ship like 2-day or three day so this time of year it might be risky cus it can get really hot. but check and see if they offer overnight yet. zip is 92308

I have an empty 29 gallon with a stand, filter, hood, lights, substrate, and I have a ton of fake plants laying around. My LFS carries Bio-Spira and everytime I used it (about 3 times) it worked perfect.
I could set the tank up completely tonight, I probablly won't be able to post any pics though.
