yes, water changes are soo much easier with a hose! I didn't get a python per say, but I got the aqueon 25 footer, and it is so lovely. Been doing 50% WC daily with PZ's tank. He had the ich-us = /
Mine is also not a python its jbls offering. I love it

IME Pimafix helps a lot if the cut is deeper.
Pimafix is made for fighting fungus, Melafix is made for healing wounds & infection.

Melafix will help it heal faster & leave little to no scar. Be sure to add an airstone.

I have airstones running all the time. My wife likes bubbles lol. So does he though. Added melafix before I left for work as advised, won't be home till really late tonight, sigh
