Ugh, I don't think I want to look it up.
I use mine especially in my puffer tank when a bloodworm goes a little too deep. (my DP's will search the tank afterwords for leftovers) I also used it to seed my filter, I sucked up some of the goopy, bacteria and water and transfer. I also use it to put water in my pitcher plant pitchers.

Just thought of a new idea! Okay, I was looking for a sponge to but on my filter intake tube so no fry get sucked up when I get cherry shrimp. Well, I decided to put gravel in it. Works really good, probably not as good as a sponge but it was a quick fix for me.

That won't work. They'll be too small. You need a very, very fine sponge, like a piece of a sponge filter.

Darn, spilt a cup of water for nothing. I'll look for it on Saturday. So get a sponge filter pad and cut a chunk off??

How about you get a little hermit crab sponge? That should be fine enough, and they're cheap.
