I finally got my rope fish to eat blood worms by just shoving a whole glob of them right in his face! so maybe try putting it where he can't miss it and hope for the best. good luck.

Yeah, he must be eating something. If he wasn't, then he'd be dead by now.

It might take a larger fish quite some time to starve to death. I'd start another post about your DPs with pics. I haven't read your whole thread but I hope they are in a different tank.

Actually, PP, the second DP changed colors and now looks almost exactly like my first one. They haven't grown, so apparently, they aren't GSPs or F8s, but I'm keeping a close eye on them.
As for the Fire Eel, I've had him for like 3 Weeks now, and he'd be dead by now. I put a whole bunch of Bloodworms by him yesternight, and he was swimming around normally (well, normally for an eel). I think the head thing is just what he does during the day. Does anybody else have a Spiny Eel? What are they supposed to be doing during the day? I know they're nocturnal. My old Spiny Eel just dissappeared during the day, and came out at like 10:00 every night. I guess that's just how they are.

All I have is a ribbon eel at home and a snowflake eel at the store.

Yeah, eels are really weird fish, same thing with puffers.
Some guy on MFK had the nerve the other day to tell me to get some monsters like Dats for my 100G. HELLO? Dats will not live in a 100G in the long run. And then, he told my that my pleco(s) will get to be 3 feet long. I have seen 3 feet long plecos, but those were both over 14 years old! Kinda weird.
Or am I the stupid one?

Plecos do not get to 3". There are a lot of really young idiots at that site (unlike yourself). I can't wait to be Mod of the puffer section they are setting up for me.

Theres a lot of older idiots at stores too.
You wouldn't believe how many times people started asking me for help instead of real employees.

Oops, none of you caught that one! I meant 3 feet, not inches.

I have seen a 3 foot pleco myself. It was 15 years old.

Grovydude, take a yardstick & look at it & tell me that's how long that pleco was.

Sorry I didn't have a ruler & a camera...

.... It was 3 feet though. It went the length of the entire tank that it was in temporarily, and that tank is over 3 feet long.
