Help to I.D these puffers please.

They are approx 10cm, have a pale underbelly and have a v on head.

These guys are pretty aggressive, originally there were 10, now only 4.

Yes, they are aggressive, they are puffers!

Separate them, they don't do well with others unless you give them a lot of room.

Because:
a) I hadnt kept them before and wouldnt havnt guessed aggressiveness
b) I didnt say all died to aggressiveness though some have, when they 1st came in, a few dropped because of travel
c) And they have been seperated for awhile now as I would hate them "murdering" each other

By the way, this needs to be updated in your pedia section sunshine, may give out the wrong info for keeping these beauties now that we know they "murder" each other.

Personality/Temperament: Piscivore. Low degree of intraspecific aggression, however will attack other puffers and fish.

I don't understand--you ordered 10 fish you didn't know the ID of, to be shipped to yout? It is up to you to do research on your pets, before purchasing, so not knowing how aggressive they are to each other, is not an excuse. Even the most "mild-mannered" puffer can still wind up to be a killler. Why would you order 10 fish you knew nothing about? The way you stated: "These guys are pretty aggressive, originally there were 10, now only 4", sounded like they killed each other. Excellent article on them stickied at the top of this forum.

There are folks that have sucessfully kept a few of theirs together but in a very large tank. How large is your tank?
