My fantasy Tank (pictures)

Post by GuiltyPleasures »

Took some photos of my brackish tank the other night, wanted to share them here with you.
I decided to do the tank to look more like marine but also wanted some color and came up with my own "fantasy" type aquascaping. Let me know what you think :)

Not exactly my kind of thing, but certainly lots of 3D structures for your fishes to hide in and explore. At the end of the day, most fish don't care what you use in the aquarium provided its safe and clean. My only concern would be the lack of digging space for the violet goby. These gobies live in mud burrows in the wild, and their instinct is to dig in aquaria. They also feed by "gulping" mud or sand, extracting small prey like worms, so feeding them algae pellets and bloodworms is easier if you have some sand to scatter these things across. So you might consider making your goby a nice sandy patch where he can do his stuff.

Cheers, Neale

Now that's what I liked to see--lots of decor! Way too many tanks are too sparse.
