Saddleback Puffer/ Valentinni Puffer

Hello there,
Some of you who may read this may know that I tried out a nw GSP. Now I had a GSP before and did really well, but alas it was her time to go. Then I tried a baby, acclimated it and then it caught in my Penguin Powerhead and died. So now I am trying an Saddleback Puffer fish also known as the Valentini (not sureof the spelling) puffer. It is a "Toby" meaning dwarf puffer. I am just wondering if anyone has any information on these guys. I ordered one from Drsfosterandsmith.com (which by the way is a website I highly recommend for anyone whom is not familiar with it) and I want to know if anyone can give me some helpful hints.Thanks,

Tobys are referred to as the 'Sharpnose' puffers. Yours could be one of two species, Canthigaster coronata or Canthigaster valentini, but considering you bought yours at Foster & Smith there's a good chance you indeed have the Valentini. Regardless, both have similar care requirements: 25-30 gallons, full marine conditions, good filtratation via live rock and a good protein skimmer.

Regarding your GSPs death caused by your powerhead- do you have covers to put over the intakes of your powerheads? I've never used Penguins but I know mine all came with covers that prevent fish from being harmed by the powerful suction.
