I've got a well established (2 years now) 30 gallon marine tank. The fish and invertebrates occupying the tank right now will be moving to my bigger tank soon. I was thinking about selling the small tank, but then this special fish that I've always wanted came to my mind : the green spotted puffer.
I think the size of the tank is on the edge for a fullgrown GSP, but there's no reason I couldn't upgrade in the future. What I do wonder about is whether or not it's ok to acclimatise a small or medium sized GSP to full marine conditions or will it harm the fish? I would like to keep the salinity in this tank to 1.023 or lower it very little because I'm afraid bacteria in my live rock and sand won't survive.

Stupid I didn't find that thread, just what I was looking for. My far from perfect English is to blame, should have used "acclimating" instead of "acclimatising".
