Definitely a T. hamiltoni. I keep them myself.

Do you think they are schooling because they are still young and are hanging around their parents still?

If they are about 2 cms (a bit less than an inch) in length then they are probably still under their parents' protection.

why do you think that parents protection should be so long in this species? that would be very unusual for puffers.
this species is usually schooling, also as adult.

This is very typical of Tetractenos species. I have seen them in the wild looking after their young, They lose their schooling behaviour at that time.
