filter suggestions
I am looking into a couple of GSP's what do you guys recomend for filters? they / it will be in a 27 gal to start I would like to get a big enough filter to "overfilter"a 36. canister or ????? also what have you found works best with these fish in the way of inlet and outlet. ie surface inlet with bottom outlet or viceversa? thanks again

No filter will make either a 27 or 36 work for two GSP, but a big aquaclear is my favorite HOB type, the sponges are good at catching particles and they are forced throughput, rather than flowover, which means you will see dropoff in water movement as it clogs up, rather than the extra water just flowing over the top of the cartridge out the front the same as it ever was. The big canisters that work well are well known.

so you obviously would only have one fish in a tank this size ok i can do that. what about 2 F8's? or is it better to only have one of those as well?

yeah one GSP is a bit tight but 2 F8 would work
