how much salt for my puffy?

Post by muggles915 »

I just measured the salt content in my 20 Gal tank and it reads 1.004. I have a F8 puffer in there ans well as a rubber lipped Pleco. Is that measurement too low for the fish? Thanks
for your help. :)

Welcome. Plecos don't do well with salted water. Figure 8s should be in 1.005-1.008.
