Identifying a puffer (I think it's a GSP..)

Yesterday I was helping out some guy on a dutch forum with his puffer. He migrated him from his community tank to a tank for it's own... Finally he had the chance to make some movies of the fellow so that we could identify him.

I think it's a GSP, but I'm not totally sure. So... I ask the prof's! ;)

Hy everyone,

I am that guy from the GSP,

I can explain why it looks like I've overfed him, just a minute before I captured the video I fed him. So that explains the large tummy! :)

But... I'm very intrested in the real name of my little fellow.

In the pet shop they say it's a Tetraodon Biocellatus.

They should only be fed to a slightly rounded belly. Read the GSP article in our Library for their care.

It is a GSP, not a Figure Eight. You should only feed him until his belly is slightly rounded. In the videos he has been grossly overfed.

Prevent unnecessary deaths due to disease- quarantine ALL new additions at least 4 weeks in a separate tank before adding to your main display tank!

Hey,

Thanks for the fast reactions,

I have chopped mussels ( in a freezed cube)
The only problem is that i can't slice the cubes in two or four pieces.

Tomorrow ill buy another kind of food , olso frozen but in small balls

You need to defrost the cubes & then feed the food to the puffer (rinse in a fine-mished net).
