when i got back from Germany last week my puffer was fine
im now preparing to start the transition from Fw to light brackish. ive bought some red sea marine salt but didnt get a hydrometer at the time because i wasnt sure on the range.
ive read up on what SG i need for light brackish (GSP >2") and know it needs to be gradual (.002)
there are still a few points which i am unclear on though.
firstly, you guys refer to 'cups' per gallon. what the hell is a cup? and can i get a measurement in litres please
secondly, hydrometers either go from the SG of brackish or 1.000 am i right in assuming 1.000 is the SG for FW? (thats what is confusing me most)
once i have this sorted i can buy a hyrometer, do the math and proceed with caution
im out of office for a while now so will prob not be able to reply for a while.
thanking you in advance
