tankmates for dwarf puffers

I have recently put 5 dwarf puffers and a bristlenose catfish in a 19g tank but the dp's are so tiny you can barely see them, the tank seems too big and empty. Is there anything interesting i can put in there with them? I know oto's are good but is there anything else?

Thats just the right size, maybe a bit tight. they will grow into it

Trust me they will definitely fit the tank. Maybe a shrimp or 2 would work if your shrimp aren't dp killers, otherwise your tank is set.

I have seen these types of puffers in guppy tanks and other community tanks but the fins and scales probably get nipped pretty badly on the other fish in the tank.

put in 10 or so cherry shrimp for some colour and a little movement

Mine devour any type of shrimp. If you're going to try shrimp, I'd recommend ghost shrimp or something cheaper than cherries, just in case they get eaten.

You could try bumble bee goby's. There really cool looking. You want the one with unbroken stripes though because it can live happily in FW.
