Green Spotted Puffer availability
Does anyone know if Green Spotted Puffers are only imported only at certain times of the year? My LFS says they can only get them in during 1 month of the year and thats it. I can't justify spending $35 shipping on $16 worth of fish. I had 2 that were acclimated to salt and lost them due to a care taker giving them a dose of hypersalinity water. This would bring my puffers up to 4, 1 hawaiian pink spotted puffer, 1 dogface puffer, and 2 GSP (all in separate tanks of course).

Only one month a year? That's rubbish! Even the LFS I hate so much has had them several times. I bought mine in October, and they got a new load of them right before Easter. They are the most commonly imported puffers here in Norway too.

There are some here.
I'm trying to talk hubby into getting rid of his tetras and dropping a GSP in there and raising the SG.

but he's like 'nah I'm too slack for a puffer"
I swear I do all the water changes in this house..If those tetras die, I'm claiming that tank as a GSP tank or keep it fresh and drop a Suvatti in it.
