I took my new MBU puffer to the vet's yesterday as "it" has been flicking around the tank lately, real dark in colour and tucking away his tail...seems as tho hes gasping as well...
(I'm new to the puffer scene and didn't know to much about them until i was left with a 4/5 inch MBU puffer in a tiny little tank.
(Housemate abandoned the mbu, and moved away) Very nice of him!
I bought a larger tank for the MBU who is now called fluffy...
It's still only a 125l tank but as fluffy gets bigger in size i shall buy a much larger tank. Due to space issues as well it will have to wait until i eventually move house.
Anyway...my question...(i apologies for the long boring read...)
The vet told me yesterday to give my fluffy a salt dip...only the one to see how he reacts...(the vet did a skin scrape and found some form of bacteria on him, only a little bit but wanted to give him a salt dip to get rid of that) but i cannot for the life of me remember how much salt i should mix into how much water...
The surgery is shut on weekends so I cant even ring and ask him again....
I do usually pay attention but its hard to listen properly to someone when they have your puffer on a table and it puffs up for the first time
Ive had fluffy two weeks now and I'm getting very attached.
so...how much salt to how much water for a salt dip?
(Thanks for reading
