HI there, not sure if this is the right place to post, but I have been looking into getting some dwarf puffers or some red eyed puffers. I have a fully matured 60l biorb and was wondering if this would be sufficient for some puffers, if so how many?
I have it as a community tank at the moment and about to move them all into a larger tank to provide company for a rescued common pleco from a friend, hence I was looking to fill up my 60l biorb. I would also like to put a couple of otos in to help with the mess.
It is a heavily planted tank, so all sounds fine, was just wondering if the round shape would be ok for them?

60 liters is about 15 gallons, so 3 DPs would be the max IMO. With regard to the red eyes, it depends on which species they are. There are quite a few that are referred to as red eyes, including some that get 6" and would be unsuitable for a 60l tank.

Hey matey! "Jennybio" here
I have abandoned the DP idea due to Aquatic Design 'maybe' getting some in in a few weeks and maybe not, and I am going for the red-tailed red eyes (C Irrubesco)! Wholesale Tropicals in Bethnal Green have TONS of them in atm...at least a dozen and a half! They deliver too
I've got their number if you want it....I'm going up tomorrow to hopefully get a couple

I don't think a 15g (US) is large enough for 2 of those fish. They tend to be quite nippy towards each other & require at least 10g each.
