Being a new to Puffers i looked across and there he was all puffed up but i could not see why?
Is something irritating him or are they just having a bit of a stretch. He did it about 5 times in a row and then stopped?
Puffer blows up for no reason?

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.

They are known to puff for no reason and we are not quite sure why, so yes it could be a stretch. Howvere that many times in a row would suggest something is irritating your puffer. Red is often a problem, decor and plants could be it it. Even furniture in the room or your clothes can cause them to behave oddly. I saw my Mbu puff once as he had trouble passing a bit of cockle shell as it was stuck in his anus so that could be a problem too. There's a couple of things for you to consider
That's interesting i shall investigate further.
Could it be caused by PH?
I am struggling to get his PH down at present. Its 8.0 which is high for Tropicals. Could this be the cause?
