Can Anyone Help?

I am new to puffers, bought one yesterday which I thought was a figure 8 only to find out its a GSP, and it was sold as freshwater. My problem is he is in a freshwater tank with my tetras and a vast number of tasty snails for his picking with a gravel bottom, how can I turn this into what he needs, salt etc as i dont want him to die, my temp is 76.

We will need all of your water test results i.e. nitrite, nitrate, ammonia and ph.
Also how long has the tank been cycled.

He will need to go into a separate, fully cycled tank, at least 30 gallons. He will need marine salt and your other fish won't tolerate the salt he needs. They are also not good community fish, he will likely either be out-competed for food, will chew on the other fish, or be terrorized by the faster moving fish.

Thank you, how much salt do I put in and do I do it with the weekly water change?? Also what is a good temperature for him?, also how often should he be fed, he has eaten blood worms today, I have loads of snails breeding in the tank so I dont know if he has eaten any??

Again, though, your other fish won't do well with the salt so you need to separate him from the others before you start adding salt, and the tank should be fully cycled as they are extremely sensitive to ammonia and nitrites.
