How do i know how much to feed my F8's

Post by pufferlove »

Hi I'm new here... I have been cycling my tank for 3 weeks I have my water in good condition. So Friday I decided I was ready for a figure 8 puffer, the man in the shop said my tank would be large enough for 2 so I brought 2. I have DPs in another tank, but these chaps i don't know if I'm over feeding or not are there any guide lines? Someone once told me puffers are greedy and will eat till they pop??? is this also true? :?

80 liters really isn't big enough for two F8s, IMO. The guidelines for feeding are the same for all puffers really, their stomachs should be slightly rounded but not bulging. And yes, they can and have eaten until they explode.
