i have got some live mussels to feed to the gsp how do i prepare them do i boil them or just chuck them in ?

Smack with a hammer, rinse off, and make him work picking the meat from the shell, it's good for his beak. Don't skill the rinse, the juice is bad for the tank bioload and doesn't nurture the puffer, while shell dust clouds the water for a while.
