new 25 gallon

Post by pnoydlyte »

ok i had my uncle stop by our place and saw my 20 gallon setup
and complimented me on how it looks
i mentioned to him i wanted a larger tank
and now he says hes gonna give me his old
25 gallon tank he has lying around

the questions i have is would 2 gsp's or 2 F8's
be good in this size of tank
i wanted to start this as a brackish
so i have a much more vast experience with different types of setups

2 F8's may work but it is on the edge of the minimum gallonage size for 2. The tank isnt big enough for 1 GSP.

Your plan of breaking the tank up as much as possible with lants is a good one. This will break lines of sight and hopefully minimize aggression between the 2 if it arises and also give plenty of hiding spots etc...
