Finally

I recently got my suvatti to eat frozen shrimp. I think he was just scared of the big chunks, cause he went at it like there was no tomorrow once I cut it in half. In addition, his coloration has normalized. He's a little lighter than most I've seen, but he's also in a bare tank aside from a cave. He's become much more active and even comes out of his cave to see me when I go up. I guess he thinks I have food. Haha. More active than I'd thought he would be. He's around 2 inches long. I feed him every other day. Is this good for his size, or should I kick it up to everyday?

At 2", I feed every other day, especially the lurkers. I feed the more active fish more often than I do the lurkers simply because they expend more calories on a daily basis. I found the same thing with my possible turgidus about the size of food. Larger food just scared him, smaller stuff he'll eat.
