Thanks guys think i will go with the abei not really bothered about size and the kids take a big interest in my tanks so a more active fish would be better.
Can anyone help me out with any infomation other than whats in the PufferPedia ? + any idea where i can find one in the uk found the baileyi but no joy with the abei

Hi
I'm late on this thread, just wondered what the outcome was ?? I ask because I had the same dilema, I went with the abei and am well pleased with the decision.
I got mine from a store in Canterbury, the baby abei cost £6.00 !!!!! they have 2 x hairy's there at present and they are £69.95 !!!

What did you think of the store chap, when we walked in me and Fella thought it was massive, only spent an hour and a half there as we had to try and beat the traffic back which failed miserably but damn there are a lot of tanks to look round. Could have spent a lot more time there.
How's the Fangs doing, any pics?

You guys are all so lucky to be able to find puffers near you!!!! I call stores and they usually have the usual assortment of dp's, fig8 and gsp, with the dps being the only ones that look halfway decent!!! The closest one usually has both gsp and fig8's labeled as fig8's...ugh. I lucked in to the modestus and the suvatti (that came home from PA with me) and the store I got the modestus will probably never get anymore puffers since the 3 "fangi" puffs they had are still sitting there, it has been over 2 months! I have never been able to see the puffs well enough to even guess what they truly are, except they are beat to hell and I can't believe they are still alive!

Dude pics of the Lorteti are mandatory, you can get them shoved in the PufferPedia and stop the Lorteti fans banging on about lack of a Lorteti profile.
Looking forward to the pics and you do now realise don't you that the puffer addiction has firmly took hold of you.
There is no escape, muhaha.
