Dwarf Puffer Live Food

Hey can anyone tell me wot options there are for live food for about 15-20 Dwarf Puffers?
I havent got them yet but i intent to keep them in a 187 gallon tank which should be enough :D

Any suggestions are great!

Blackworms and snails would be good live food. Brine Shrimp makes a great treat on occasions.

Hey, thanks for the reply :)

I intend to breed snails in a small tank i have spare but, unfortunatly my local lfs doesnt supply black worms :( but they do supply very cheap packets of brine shrimp (99p for a packet!) so it looks like it could be more then a random treat!

I have done research but how often will i need to feed them?
most sorces say once a day, so i could differ from snails to brine shrimp and the occasional treat of prawns or something?!

How does that sound? Help lol :shock:

Frozen bloodworms are pretty good for them, and provide a variety, you can always try some of them even if you use a primarily live diet. With so many I'd consider ordering blackworms online, they are the only things my DP's love more than snails.

That sounds like a good idea! I'm in England so any ideas of a website i can order blackworms from?

On the topic of live food; I am thinking of buying a DP and wanted to know if they could handle MTSs as I've heard the shells can be too hard.

MTS are best avoided as food for puffers, baby ones might not be a problem but there still could be a risk. baby Common Pond Snails and Ramshorns are a better option.
