DP Travel

If I HAD to transfer some DPs (3 hour car trip) what would be the best way to do this? I know this travel isn't ideal, but its the only way I can get them back up to their tank... I was thinking about keeping them in a relatively large solid colored container (so they wouldn't feel exposed) and try to keep a lot of surface area on the water so they could get the oxygen they need... if anyone has a better idea please let me know asap! Thanks!!

If you do a search there should be a lot of info that pops up.
I'd separate them into their own containers and put them in a cooler or something that will keep the temp controlled.

Kugelkat (member of this forum) and I transported a bagged and boxed T. baileyi from Chicago to Toronto by car. It was in the bag more than 8 hours. There was oxygen in the bag. All the packaging for transport was done by Chewal (member of this forum). He had also kept it healthy for us for almost three weeks until we could pick it up, so it started out in fine condition to travel.

That said, I don't think you should have a problem for a 3-hour car trip.

Temperature would be my only concern. I would put the bagged fish in a cooler to keep the temperature as constant as possible.
