Hi regarding the T pustulatus,
I lost him in very strange circumstances he was living with malawi chiclids and three bristle noseplecs and decided to eat a couple of plecs and a malawi chiclid on one of his none feeding days then had problems pooping and died within a couple of days with a very swollen anus.
All very tragic  but the lesson is I suppose, these guys is dont mix with other fish due to their unpredictable personalities they behave similar to the fahaka puffers as they age get more aggressive so if anyone is lucky enough to get one i would keep it in a tank on its own.
Still kicking myself
Chris

T. pustulatus, aka the Cross River Puffer, is from the Cross River in Ethiopia.

Formerly they were rare, seem to be coming in more often now. But not mony folks are willing to accomodate a large-ish fairly waspish puffer, whether they are good-looking or not.

Nope. A staff person at AC said that they had one or more through there in the past, but I have not seen any myself around here. One of the NJ wholesalers listed one some time back, but was a false alarma - it was a young Fahaka!
