Dragon puffer has gone/ FIG8s are here.

Hey, we bought a dragon puffer back at the beginning of october. He started to chomp some of the other fish as you all said BUT it wasnt that reason i got rid - he sat there an done nothing so i was bored of it. Called my local store and they agreed to take him back, said he had been looked after and looked heatlhy.

We got a couple of lovely Figure of 8s, very friendly and active.

Rearranged the tank slightly, more current from the powerhead that the puffs keep throwing themselves into. bought a couple of nice real plants to replace the rock/plant thing we had and it all together looks much better and the tank if much more active!!!

We still have the paroon shark hes doing well, growing readily, the large angel is there along with the two little puffers which are about an inch long each, a pictuss catfish aswell!

The puffers are gonna tear those long fins off the angels. Also, your puffers are brackish fish--your others arent.

The Angel is MASSIVE the puffers wont go near him.. they flee from him at all times!

The puffers have been kept in freshwater at the place we bought them from and im hoping to setup another tank to move them into at some point and turn that brackish!

Hi Neal, small world: I'm in Cheshire too (well, Wirral).

Lil' puffs can be quite tame when they're only small, esp. figure eights which are relatively peaceful compared with others like GSPs. But, like you probably already know the older they get the more grumpy they usually get (like humans heh!).
Add bloodworms to the list of food you're gonna feed 'em too, they love the stuff!
