Feeding F8's Snails

Post by alex101 »

I was just wondering how big of a snail and what kind of snails should I feed to the Figure 8's. I'd like to get some in my tank for him to start chompin at but I didn't know what snails go in brackish waters and what snails are small enough for figure 8's to eat
So many fish, not enough tanks

Breed freshwater snails in a snail breeding tank and then toss them in when its feeding time. Feed them sails roughly the same size as their eye.

Ramshorn and common pond snails are the preferred choice. No Malaysian Trumpet Snails as their is a risk of the puffer damaging their teeth.
